Transporting pharmaceuticals demands the highest level of care, as even minor temperature excursions can compromise quality or render medicine unusable. At Combitherm, we provide advanced thermal solutions - including specialised air cargo covers and box liners, - that ensure stable temperatures throughout the entire journey, from production to final destination.
Visit us at stand 131 to discover how our solutions can enhance supply chain resilience, protect pharmaceutical integrity, and support sustainability.

Our air cargo covers are part of our range of thermal covers, which provide effective protection against temperature fluctuations. The distinctive feature of our air cargo covers is that they are covered with a metallised surface, which provides effective protection against sunlight and reflects 97% of solar radiation. This significantly reduces the risk of heating the surfaces. The strong three-layer construction of outer foil, insulating material and inner foil keeps the products at the desired temperature interval during all stages of transport. The high quality of materials contributes to a lower TCO compared to disposable solutions.

“We work within the product groups of medicines, vitamins and dietary supplements, and therefore work with very high quality standards in our company. We must therefore also control how the products reach the customer. By using Combitherms thermal covers, we have even better assurance that our shipments comply with the temperature limits during transport,” says Claus Hansen, Supply Chain Manager and Chief Financial Officer at Pharma Nord.

“In connection with pharmaceutical transport, we operate under GDP, a strict set of rules, where we must at all times be able to document that we comply with the requirements for correct temperature during the entire transport process. Here, the covers from Combitherm are an optimal solution. They meet our requirements for protection against huge temperature fluctuations on the tarmacm they are easy to handle and they are an economically good alternative to active refrigeration units,” says Hanne Reher.
