Climate accounting forms the basis for further work on CO2 reduction

In collaboration with Klimaklar Produktionsvirksomhed, Combitherm has established a carbon footprint report that lays the foundation for an even more targeted effort towards CO2 reduction. Among other things, Combitherm will focus even more on a closer collaboration with suppliers and customers to promote recycling and reduce the consumption of materials.

The initiative is driven by Combitherm’s focus on increased sustainability and by the increasing demand from major customers for documentation of climate impact. With no previous experience in managing carbon accounting, Combitherm has taken an important step forward by integrating more systematic sustainability processes through this collaboration.

On behalf of DI Produktion and Klimaklar Produktionsvirksomhed, Epinion has conducted a survey to see how far Danish manufacturing companies, in general, are from meeting the national climate targets for 2025 and 2030. The study also looked at what initiatives companies have already put in place to achieve these targets and what challenges they face in their efforts to achieve further CO2 reductions.
